HOTEL POLICIES

1. Nett Prices quoted are per room per night inclusive of 6% government tax and 10% service charge. Prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM).

2. Every room booking made at The LimeTree Hotel, Kuching whether via our website or other means, is subject to the following reservation policies: 

Check-In Time 
Check in is after 2:00 pm on the day of arrival. The hotel will make considerable efforts to accommodate early arrivals. Should you wish to occupy the room before 2:00 pm, we recommend placing a reservation a night prior to your arrival.

Check-Out Time
Check-out time is before 12:00 noon on the day of departure. If the room is required till 6:00 pm, a half day charge on the agreed rate is applicable. Check-out after 6:00pm will be at a full day charge. Prior arrangement is strongly recommended.

Guarantee of Reservation
a. The guest’s credit card details are required as a guarantee for the reservation and will not be charged before check-in. Full settlement of the room bill is only due upon check-out. A Credit Card Authorization Form will be emailed to fill in the credit card details.

b. Without the guest’s credit card details, the reservation is not guaranteed but we are able to hold the room until 6pm on the day of arrival date. If the guest does not arrive by then, we reserve the right to sell the room to others.

c. Unless otherwise stated and depending on travel period/season, a non-refundable full prepayment may be required o confirm and guarantee a peak-period booking. As such, the guest’s credit card details will then be used to charge the full amount of the total payment due for the entire stay prior to check-in. The pre-payment paid for a reservation is non-refundable and non-transferable.
 
Cancellation and Amendment policy
a. If the reservation has not been guaranteed with a credit card, the guest may cancel the reservation by 6pm local hotel time on the day of the arrival date.

b. If the reservation has been guaranteed with a credit card, the guest may cancel the reservation without any charges by 6pm local hotel time at least three (3) days before the arrival date. Non-arrivals and late cancellation will subject the credit card to be charged for the first night of the stay.

c. Reservations with full pre-payments cannot be cancelled. The pre-payments made for the booking is non-refundable and non-transferable. Amendments to a reservation may be made, if applicable, subject to room availability and at our hotel’s discretion.
 
3. Your booking is governed by Malaysian law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts. The booking confirmation and these terms represent the entire agreement between The LimeTree Hotel Kuching and you.

4. You confirm that you have not entered into the contract with The LimeTree Hotel Kuching on the basis of any representation not expressly incorporated into these documents.

5. The LimeTree Hotel Kuching does not accept liability for any omissions or errors and reserves the right at any time to change information published on the site and change room rates without prior notice.

6. The LimeTree Hotel Kuching does not accept liability for any loss either indirect or consequential that may arise from the use of or connected with The LimeTree Hotel Kuching web site or for any products or services purchased from The LimeTree Hotel Kuchign web site.

7. Any complaint about the booking service must be notified to The LimeTreeHotel Kuching in writing or by email as soon as possible. Any complaint regarding the hotel must be brought to the attention of the hotel management as early as possible during your stay and, if not resolved to your satisfaction, should be notified to The LimeTree Hotel Kuchig in writing.

8. Passport, visa and health requirements for you and your party are your responsibility. You are strongly recommended to obtain travel insurance against cancellation. 

9. You warrant that you are at least 21 years of age. All bookings are personal to you and may not be sold, assigned or otherwise transferred. If our hotel reservation confirmations are used inappropriately as means of VISA application, an admin fee will be charged and the customer will be reported to the local authorities. 

10. Pets are not allowed under any circumstances within the hotel compounds. At the moment, the hotel does not have the capacity or facilities to allow this guests to check-in with pets.

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy, we provide this Policy explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. By using this website, you consent to the collection and use of personal information by The LimeTree Hotel and its owners as set out in this Privacy Policy.

On some pages, you can make room reservations, make enquiries, and register to receive information. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

As we cannot distinguish the age of persons who access our website, a blanket privacy policy is applied. The LimeTree Hotel Kuching does not intend to nor does it seek to receive information from minors.

We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete the reservation or answer your query. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that task. We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such email addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

You can register on our website with your email if you would like to receive our special promotions and offers. Information you submit on our website will not be used for this purpose unless you fill out the Enquiry form or make a reservation. If you would like to change your permission preference after registering for any of our contests or to unsubscribe from receiving our newsletters or mailings, or do not want us to share your email address with other parties, please email us at nothanks@limetreehotel.com.my to unsubscribe. Finally, we do not use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out.

To prevent unauthorised access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.In addition, if you become aware of any security breach, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing us at info@limetreehotel.com.my.
